We use lots of tools for searching, each brings it own unique challenges. Today on the muddy bottom of the Corrib, our side scan sonars where put to good use.
These scanners were donated to the unit a while back by a very generous local business man, our unit is 100% voluntary, little things mean everything to us. We’ll never forget the generosity of our community, with it we would not exist.
